Dr. Maureen Baker grew up in Pleasanton, California. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She practices internal medicine, wellness exams, oncology, dermatology, dentistry, and general veterinary care.
Dr. Amy Fousek grew up in Kansas and has been in love with caring for animals since birth. Being actively involved in 4-H encouraged Amy to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She received a Bachelor's of Science in 2008 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2010. After completing a year long internship at Chino Valley Equine Hospital in southern California, she moved to Alturas, CA. She has been a mixed animal veterinarian at Modoc Veterinary Center for the last four years. Her veterinary interests are small animal medicine, equine dentistry, and cattle herd health. Dr. Amy's four legged babies are Otto, the big kitty; Jessie, the spoiled border collie; and Pearce, the old ranch horse. She enjoys riding horses, traveling, and eating good food. Dr. Amy is looking forward to meeting you and your pets.
Dr. Harmony McPherson graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She practices internal medicine, wellness exams, dentistry, dermatology, and general surgery. Dr McPherson is also licensed to perform acupuncture on both large and small animals, as well as laser therapy.
Dr. Tom Sampson grew up in Siskiyou County. He graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He practices surgery, including orthopedic, soft tissue, abdominal and thoracic as well as dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, and general veterinary care.
Dr. Stroshine has recently located to the Mt Shasta area. He practices general veterinary medicine. After practicing in the Salinas area for many years, he and his wife have retired to the Mt Shasta area. We are pleased that he has joined our practice.
Dr. John Whiting graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary medicine in 1978. He practices internal medicine, wellness exams, dentistry, dermatology, and general veterinary care.
